Roles and responsibilities

Ideation, creation and execution:
Becky Ware

This project was meant to be light hearted and reminiscent of a dating app. The actual purpose of the app was to pair up video game players with other, like-minded video game players so they could play on the same team in a game against others. The client wanted the app to be tongue and cheek and resemble a dating app so, each gamer had a profile page which listed what they were looking for in other gamers and what their likes and preferences were. Gamers could both join already-scheduled games, as well as create their own and invite others.

The project began with lots of research on the potential user as well as other dating apps. Below you will see a mood board made with Miro to collect visual research and ideas.

Next, I made a user flow using figjam and presented it to the stakeholders to make sure everyone was on the same page.

Once the user flow was approved, I made a wire frame prototype.

After going back and forth with stakeholders and developers, changes were made and I was given the ok to begin designing the UX. Below you will see a video run-through of the final prototype. Enjoy!
